Fenikssped to open its first office abroad, in Belgrade
Fenikssped, 95% owned by the Post of Slovenia and 5% owned by Aerodrom Ljubljana, opened an office in Belgrade, its first outside Slovenia. This will allow the company to provide customers in Serbia, as it already does in Slovenia, with comprehensive logistics services in collaboration with the global logistics company Expeditors International. Swiss Post focuses on online business and makes parcels intelligent
Swiss Post follows the requirements and changing behaviour of its customers and is further expanding its strategic focus on the e-commerce market. Online retailing is currently experiencing strong growth. This means significantly larger volumes of parcels for Swiss Post and requires new logistics solutions. Swiss Post ready to become a public limited company
The Federal Council today passed its decisions on the conversion of Swiss Post and PostFinance into public limited companies on 26 June 2013. The new legal status of the two companies is a consequence of the revised postal legislation adopted by the Swiss Parliament in 2010. As a result of the conversion, Swiss Post will obtain the modern structures it needs to carry out its varied tasks. Swiss Post Ltd will still be owned entirely by the Confederation, and PostFinance Ltd by Swiss Post Ltd. [read more...]

Exactly five years ago, Deutsche Post DHL, the world's leading mail and logistics group, officially launched its GoGreen program and became the first logistics company in the world to set a measureable climate protection target. MaltaPost registers a €1 million pre-tax profit
In the first six months of 2013 MaltaPost registered a €1 million pre-tax profit - an increase of 27.5 per cent over the same period last year. Similar to other postal operators around the world, MaltaPost experienced a decline in traditional mail volumes however on the other hand, parcel business generated through e-commerce continued to increase.
