Postal operators will continue to support the Commission's move to modernise VAT rules for improving cross-border e-commerce and combat fraud. It is in everybody's interest that the new One-Stop-Shop IT system addresses all concerns including the expected increase in processing costs brought to the delivery sector, before it is fully extended and performing well towards the end of 2021. During the implementation process, we support the Commission's approach to closely monitor and assess the systems. Postal operators as key players in the e-commerce delivery sector, are ready to further contribute expertise, know-how and intensify cooperation to ensure the success of the process.
