The ease of PostNL Bagageservice catches on with customers

PostNL will continue its luggage service, Bagageservice, in 2018 after a successful pilot at the beginning of this year.

Travelers and travel companies are satisfied and have good experiences with the service.

The travelers indicate that the main reasons to use the baggage service are that they do not have to lug around with suitcases and do not have to queue at the airport. The service also matches the ambition of airports to keep luggage as peak as possible from the departure hall at peak times.

In March 2017, PostNL introduced the PostNL Baggage Service for travelers traveling from Schiphol and Eindhoven airport. This service has two variants. The check-in service, where luggage is picked up from home and checked in for the traveler. The standard service, where luggage is collected at home and delivered at the airport, was offered via the PostNL website, the NS and other travel organizations. The traveler can then check in the suitcases himself at the airport.
