It is an innovative approach to connecting innovation teams of established companies with the best designers and programmers from the start-up environment.

From amongst all who applied, 10 most promising innovation teams were chosen to participate. On the first day, the teams developed and validated the business model, supported by design thinking experts, and on the second day they were assisted by prototype pairs (programmer and designer) to develop a digital prototype.

The four-member expert jury was most impressed by the idea developed by Pošta Slovenije’s team addressing the problem of nearly every package recipient. They most often receive a note about the package in their mailbox because they are simply not at home when the postman arrives. By upgrading Pošta Slovenije’s existing »My Delivery – My Choice« service, they wish to save package recipients the journey to the post office, and enable them to choose when the postman is at their house, whether they wish the postman to leave their package in the backyard, with the neighbour or somewhere else where the recipient will be able to pick it up on their way home.
