“The postmen of Lithuania Post have long been just deliverers of newspapers and letters. More than 3.5 thousand postmen collect and pay utility bills as well as deliver petty goods.
It is convenient to order goods from postmen as there is no need to go anywhere or bother about transportation of purchased goods. We believe that this service will be convenient for elderly people or the ones living in remote locations”, Lithuania Post’s Director of Sales Division Arūnas Venckavičius said.
A special catalogue offers for choice more than half a hundred articles produced by manufacturers well-known in Lithuania. Customers can order mattresses, pots, flatware, sets of knives, domestic electric appliances, telephones, and other goods for health or leisure. In the future, the catalogue will be updated and supplemented by new goods meeting the residents’ expectations.
According to Mr Venckavičius, it is convenient to order the goods from the catalogue as they will be delivered to the residents’ homes free of charge. The ordered goods will be delivered to the residents by LP EXPRESS couriers.
