Swiss Post has been offering its customers the opportunity to purchase stamps online via "WebStamp" and print them at home since 2006. It is now introducing a service for purchasing stamps on the move. Those who would like to send an A Mail standard letter to an address in Switzerland but do not have a stamp handy, can send the keyword "STAMP" to the target number "414". The code they will receive should be noted in the upper right-hand corner of the envelope and the letter must be posted in a letter box. A second option is to request such a code via the Swiss Post smartphone app (Android and iPhone coming soon).
