This is a record for the second year running, beating last year’s total of 16 million parcels. On peak days, it handled well over a million parcels and up to 20 million letters. This December, for the first time, Swiss Post is also sorting parcels on public holidays. Swiss Post is supporting the “2 x Christmas” campaign for the seventeenth time. Donated goods parcels for the needy may be handed in at any post office until 11 January 2014. Swiss Post will then forward the parcels to the Swiss Red Cross free of charge.  See more
