Ulster Bank link with Post Offices to benefit customers – Monday to Saturday

A new partnership between An Post and Ulster Bank enables the bank’s personal and business customers to conduct certain banking transactions via the An Post network of 1,140 post offices, Monday to Saturday.

From April 20th 2015, Ulster Bank customers can make cash deposits in any Post Office nationwide or avail of cheque acceptance facilities in designated Post Offices. They can also be able to pay their Ulster Bank credit card bills using cash or debit card at any Post Office.

These enhanced services will complement the online, mobile and telephone banking options already available to Ulster Bank customers, including the facility to withdraw cash at any time from any Ulster Bank ATM nationwide.

Commenting on this latest addition to An Post’s suite of financial services, Liam Sheehan, Sales and Marketing Director at An Post, said: “We look forward to providing top quality local services to Ulster Bank customers at 1,140 Post Offices around the country – and we’re also open on Saturday mornings. This further underpins our unique position in providing local, reliable financial services to Irish business and personal customers.”

Jim Ryan, Head of Branch Banking at Ulster Bank, said:  “Our goal is to become the best bank for customer trust, service and advocacy so we’re continually looking for ways to adapt and enhance the service that our customers need to make banking more convenient for them.
