Upon nomination within the E-Commerce Working Group and endorsement from the Management Board, PostEurop welcomed the appointment of Mrs. Katja Kollmeier from Deutsche Post DHL as the new Chair of the prominent working group within the European Union Affairs Committee (EAC). Katja, who succeeded Mr. Wolfgang Pickavé as Vice President Regulation Strategy at DPDHL since 1 September 2016, has also taken on the leadership role of the working group from Wolfgang who has retired.

Katja is a lawyer by profession and joined DPDHL in 1997. Since then, she has held various positions within Corporate Public Policy and Regulation Management, having been broadly engaged in the privatisation and liberalisation processes of Deutsche Post and the European postal sector. Apart from sector specific regulation, her main focus has been in providing support with regard to the application of European Competition Law.

The entire PostEurop community would like to welcome Katja in her new role and thank Wolfgang for his long-standing active involvement within the EAC and especially for his superb leadership with regards to the E-Commerce Working Group, which has hailed numerous actions and achievements in a short period of time.
