Year 2016 was an eventful year for Posti in many ways. Volumes of traditional letters kept declining, but because of the growing e-commerce parcel volumes grew. During the year, we expanded our operations into food logistics, introduced new home services and made several acquisitions. Renewed Postal Act entered into force in June, says Hanna Kauko, Head of Communications at Posti.

Posti's Corporate Governance Statement has been published together with the consolidated financial statements on March 8, 2017, and also at www.posti.com/corporategovernance. The remuneration statement 2016 is available at the same address.

Posti will publish financial reports in 2017 as follows:
