Posti – only Finnish logistics company
Financial Times has once again published a list of European companies that have reduced their climate emissions the most. Five hundred companies were selected for Europe’s Climate Leaders 2024 list, 30 from Finland.
Posti was on the list now for the third time row. Posti was the only Finnish logistics company on the list. The data in the list have been compiled by Statistica, a German research company.
Posti’s total emissions (scope 1–3) decreased by 17.4 percent during 2023 compared to 2022. Correspondingly, Posti’s own emissions (scope 1–2) decreased by 16.1 percent.
Posti is committed to achieving fossil-free transportation by 2030, encompassing both its own operations and those of its partners. By 2040, all operations will be net-zero in terms of emissions. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has approved Posti’s short- and long-term goals.
