After 15 years, postal workers receive 5 million-lei worth of new uniforms. Over 17 000 mail carriers, customer support officers, postal unit managers, and assistant postal unit managers received complete sets of equipment including: polo shirts and caps, adjustable-sleeve shirts, pants with pockets, as well as raincoats and hooded waterproof jackets.

The uniforms have been designed to be both comfortable and to ensure brand identity and professionalism in the field. The investment, initiated last year, also ensures significant savings for the Romanian Post. The entire amount of money with which the Romanian Post purchased the uniforms is deducted from the social fund for the disabled that the Company owes and pays monthly to the state budget, therefore saving nearly 5 million lei.

“We care about the image and well-being of our employees and we want them to convey professionalism in their interactions with customers, while also being comfortable during the workday. This investment was absolutely necessary, considering that the last complete sets of uniforms for postal workers were purchased over 15 years ago,” mentioned Valentin Ștefan, CEO of the Romanian Post.
